MOSCOW, ID. -- He's one of the most well-recognized people on the Palouse, and now he's going to be in the national spotlight this bowl season.

Head football coach Robb Akey and the Idaho Vandals are going bowling in Boise on December 30, when they kick off against the Bowling Green Falcons in the Humanitarian Bowl.

Akey is famous in Moscow for his booming voice, country charm, sideline sprints and chest bumps, and his ability to lead a team out of the gutters and into bowl territory for the first time in years.

Vandal football players and University of Idaho students rolled out their best Robb Akey impressions for KREM.com and some of them are spot-on for the Idaho coach.

The Humanitarian Bowl is December 30 at 1:30 PST on ESPN.
