BOISE -- The Boise State Bronco men's basketball team (14-6, 4-3) faces off against the United States Air Force Academy Falcons (9-9, 3-4) at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 29 at Taco Bell Arena.
Playing basketball in the Mountain West is a lot like tennis.
The home team is the server, with the advantage, the road team is in search of a break.
That's why it's so important to hold serve, or win at home, because it is so hard to win on the road.
Boise State is coming off a confidence boosting 21-point win over San Jose State on Saturday.
Now they have to face Air Force, a team that has lost two straight, and four of their last five games.
They're going to be desperate for a win on Wednesday, which is why the Broncos are focused on them.
We look at the whole forest, but we're focused on the tree that's right in front of us all the time. We know how they can play, and they're playing some real good basketball. It's going to be a Mountain West game that we have to be ready for," said head coach Leon Rice.
"We've got to get rolling now. It's going to be important for us to get some Mountain West wins down the stretch, but we got to just take it one game at a time," said senior forward Ryan Watkins.
Last year, the Broncos beat the Falcons at home but lost at Air Force.
