BOISE -- The Boise State men's basketball team (8-0) will face the No. 11 Wildcats of University of Kentucky (7-2) Tuesday at 7 p.m. MST at Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky.
The matchup between the two teams is of biblical proportions, and you might call it a David vs. Goliath situation as the Broncos go on the road to face the Wildcats.
Even though the Broncos beat Carroll College 80-52, the undefeated Broncos will still have their work cut out for them. Kentucky lost its second game of the season against Baylor 62-67 on Friday, December 6.
The Broncos know this one isn't going to be easy.
"They always play hard, so we're not going to just see some confused freshmen, that's not how things are. They just play really, really hard. You know our guys, the good thing is they've played in some of these games before, and so I think that you know they'll be able to at least identify with that experience, cause they've done it before, but they've probably never experienced anything like this one," said Boise State Men's Basketball Head Coach Leon Rice regarding the caliber of the University of Kentucky game.
Tuesday's game marks the first meeting between the two teams.
