Saturday night, former Boise State Bronco cornerback Kyle Wilson tweeted, "I'm a millionaire, and headed to training camp."
An AP source said the New York Jets' first round pick this year has agreed to terms on a 5-year deal. The source says it has a maximum value of $13 million, with $7 million of that guaranteed.
The deal was made just in time. Wilson has to report to camp on Sunday, with the first practice on Monday.
Wilson, considered by many to be the top cornerback in the draft, was drafted by the Jets at 29th overall. Coach Rex Ryan has already named him the starting nickleback in a defense that ranked No. 1 in the league last season.
