Former Boise State golfer Graham DeLaet is in striking position to win his first PGA Tour tournament at the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial going into the final round on Sunday.  DeLaet currently sits tied for second at 10 under, and trails leader Matt Kuchar by just one stroke.

DeLaet was in second place going into the day, and got off to a hot start on Saturday.  He birdied holes four and seven, and found himself alone atop the leaderboard for most of the day.  But bogeys on three of his final six holes knocked DeLaet back into second place.

The Canadian was able to salvage his round though, and finished the day with a birdie on the 18th hole to drop him to 10 under.

DeLaet’s best finish on the PGA Tour came in his rookie season in 2010 when he tied for third at the Shell Houston Open.
