BOISE-- The Chicago Cubs released their first 2011 Boise Hawks roster of the season on Monday. The roster is made up of 14 pitchers, two catchers, six infielders, and four outfielders. Some familiar names on the roster are outfielder Reggie Golden, who was the Cubs' second round pick in 2010, and 2009 Minor League Player of the Year Kyler Burke.
The Hawks will travel to Boise on Tuesday, and will open the season on Friday at Eugene. The Hawks will host Tri-City on Wednesday, June 22, in their home opener.
