CALDWELL -- Finally, after 37 years, the wait is almost over for the return of football at the College of Idaho.
The Yotes will play their first game on September 5.
And when they take the field, the team will feature plenty of local talent.
College of Idaho head coach Mike Moroski told us when he was hired last year that he wanted to get talented athletes from the Treasure Valley and Idaho.
Smart kids that just weren't quite good enough to make it in Division 1 football.
Moroski already had 45 guys from Idaho on the roster going into today.
But that wasn't enough.
Today, the Yotes announced 12 more players to the class of 2014, seven of them from the Treasure Valley.
The Yotes will start spring ball on March 9th, and will hold their spring scrimmage on April 12th.
There will be some familiar faces roaming the C of I sidelines alongside Coach Moroski.
He confirmed four of his coaches, including former Boise State wide receiver Kirby Moore.
