PROSSER, WA - It's a town of around 5,000 that sits in the center of Washington Wine country.
"We actually house 30 wineries here in Prosser, we call oursleves Prosser, the birthplace of Washington Wine," Jim Milne, Executive Director, Prosser Chamber of Commerce said.
"It's a passion of love," Marcus Miller with Airfield Winery said. "We only have one chance to make great wine each year and we have to make the most of it, so we have to put in long hours to make that happen."
But that's not entirely what Prosser is all about.
"We love making wine here and we love our football team," Miller said.
Prosser is also the hometown of Kellen and Kirby Moore. Their succes as Broncos has helped change the college football landscape here in Southeastern Washington."
"We've adopted the Boise State Broncos," Milne said.
But Prosser doesn't just change it's colors for just anybody.
"What's really cool about those two guys is that they're great football players obviously, but they're even better people," former coach and family friend Mark Little said. "I mean, I think they emobody kind of what's best about Prosser."
Their family life played a big part in that - Kellen and Kirby's Dad, Tom coached the high school football team for more than two decades using sports as a way to help raise not only two great football players, but two solid young men.
Their success in some ways has made them not just the sons of Tom and Kris Moore, but also Prosser's boys.
"I think it's our boys when they a touchdown pass, but it's my kid when he throws a pick. So, (laughter) You know how that goes, but you know everyone is pretty proud of it," Tom said.
"In some way or another mostly in this town you touch their kids or their family some way or another," Kris said. "Everyone knows everyone."
And as the town of Prosser continues to follow Kellen and Kirby, they've also embraced Bronco Nation. So much so every gameday a local theater here in town shows each and every Bronco game, free of charge. Kathy Aubrey, Executive Director, The Princess Theater "When Kellen and Kirby Both went to Boise State we thought how fun it would be if the community could see our boys in action, lets put it on the big screen." 20:35
Hundreds of people have attended this season and if they aren't at the theater, they're at restaurants around town that offer up gameday specials.
Waiting for the one moment, when Kellen and Kirby make the same magic they did so many times under the lights at Prosser High School.
And while Prosser erupted at that moment, the Moore parents were overcome with joy at what their boys had accomplished, from their back yard to Bronco Stadium.
"Just that their dreams had come true," Kris said. "They had worked hard for this and they had talked about it since they were little, about stadiums and big crowds and things."
And whether this small community is in the yard practicing football, or the craft of making fine wine; there's no question, Prosser, Washington has joined Bronco Nation.
"It's just one of the funnest things happening in Prosser, his success and his brothers," Miller said.
