BOISE -- Emery Roy has been coaching basketball in the Treasure Valley for more than 30 years.
He started things off at Meridian back in 1976, where he won four straight titles from 1980-83.
A little over a decade later he moved to Centennial when the school opened in 1987.
Nothing changed when Roy changed schools. All he continued to do was win.
On Saturday, after 35 seasons in south western Idaho Emery picked up his 700th career victory when his Patriot girls beat Capital High, 53-34.
Athletic director Jon Watson had all the girls sign a basketball for their coach to commemorate the event.
The victory may have been number 700 for Roy, but it was his team's 15th straight to open this season.
