The Leon Rice era has started as well as anyone could have imagined.
After three games, the Boise State men's basketball team is 3-0 with wins over Western State, San Diego and, on Sunday against, UC Davis, 67-47.
Rice is now the first coach since BSU became a four year school to begin his career with three straight wins. It's the first time the program has started 3-0 since the 2003-04 season.
On Sunday Boise State lead from beginning to end and senior La'Shard Anderson was outstanding. The California native poured in 18 points, had 5 assists, and 4 steals.
There were a total of four Broncos in double figures. Anderson, 18, Reggie Arnold had 13, while Paul Noonan and Ryan Watkins had 11 each.
The Broncos are back home Wednesday to host Eastern Washington. Tip-off at Taco Bell Arena is set for 7:05pm.
