BOISE -- With an 83-54 route of Eastern Washington on Wednesday night the Broncos are off to their best start since the 1998-99 season at 4-0.
The start is better than any the Broncos ever had while Greg Graham was at the helm of the program. His best start was back during the 2008-09 season when he guided the program to 6 wins in its first 7 games.
The night started off right as Reggie Arnold hit two straight three-pointers, he was fouled on the second, to give BSU an early 7-0 lead. Arnold would end the night a perfect 4-for-4 from distance and finish with a game high 26 points.
Arnold was helped by the incredible inside presence of senior Zach Moritz who put up 18 points on the night.
BSU lead by 16 at the half, 43-27.
In the second half the Broncos extended their lead behind solid play from senior Paul Noonan, who scored 11, and freshman Ryan Watkins, he added 8.
The Broncos will try to extend their streak to 5 on Saturday night when they host the University of Denver at Taco Bell Arena.
