BOISE -- It's been six weeks since the Boise State Broncos fell out of the college football polls. But Sunday, they began moving back in the right direction, after their 34 - 23 win against Utah State Saturday night.

Week 8 polls were released Sunday, and the Broncos got some notice, at least by the coaches.

In the USA Today Coaches' Poll, the Broncos received three votes, checking in at 37th place.

Undefeated conference rival Fresno State moved up to 19th place after a bye Saturday.

The Broncos didn't get any votes from the media, but the two teams they've lost to are both in the top 20.

The Bulldogs are ranked 17, while Washington is 20th, following their loss to Oregon in Seattle Saturday.
