BOISE -- It's on the mind of every Boise State fan right now, but the BCS is also on the minds of the national sports talk show hosts including one of the country's most popular, Dan Patrick, and Wednesday his show lit up Bronco Nation.

The Executive Director of the BCS, Bill Hancock, went on the Dan Patrick Show, and had his feet held to the fire, since his system gives teams like Boise State, little or no chance to play for a national title, even with an unbeaten record...or does it?

The guy running the BCS is still unwilling to change to a playoff system, and as you heard, right now, is all about a team like Boise State playing in the national title game.

But on December 6, when those final BCS standings come out -- don't count on it.

The next test for the Broncos is this Friday.

Justin Corr will be in Logan, Utah there covering it for us.

The Broncos take on Utah State.  Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m.

ESPN 2 is televising the action.

You can also hear every play on KIDO 580 AM.
