BOISE -- As time wound down in the Bronco women's WAC Tournament first round match-up with Fresno State, Boise State's Brandy Hickcox found the back of the net helping the Bronco women to advance to the 2nd round of the tournament with a 2-1 victory.
The scoring started in the 51st minute of the game when Bronco freshman Erica Parks scored giving BSU a 1-0 lead. The Bulldogs evened the score in the 65th minute only to see their effort be out done by Hickcox's, who's 89th minute goal put Fresno State away and helped the Bronco women move on to the conference semi-finals. Hickcox goal was her 11th of the season, tying the program record for most goals in a single season.
On Friday, the Bronco women take on Utah State at 3pm with a shot at advancing to the WAC title game.
