BOISE -- The Bishop Kelly boys lacrosse team secured a spot in the state championship after beating Centennial, 12-8, Wednesday night.
With the score tied a six halfway through the third quarter, Bishop Kelly caught fire. The Knights outscored the Patriots, 6-2, over the final 18 minutes of the game.
Matt Mello was pretty much perfect for Bishop Kelly. He finished with four goals on four shot attempts to go along with four assists.
David Troyer chipped in with three goals of his own, while John Alder added two scores.
After Mountain View beat Rocky Mountain 15-8 on Wednesday, the Knights will now face the Mavs for the state championship on Monday.
