Monday morning members of the BSU football team took part in "Goodie Two Shoes," an event which donates shoes, socks, and school supplies to underprivileged kids.
Nikki Berti works for Goodie Two Shoes was very excited the Broncos were on hand to help out.
"Some of these kids have never had the opportunity to pick a new pair of shoes, much less be given the opportunity to meet a larger-than-life collegiate football player that's playing in a bowl game. So this is a great opportunity for the kids to have some mentoring, to meet with some of these guys, to talk about sports real briefly, and maybe have a positive experience they may not otherwise have," Bertis said.
The Broncos spread a love of football and BSU by handing out blue and orange football to the kids as well.
