HONOKAA, Hawaii -- Hawaii Police say they've located an Idaho couple reported missing Wednesday morning.

Police say family members reported the young McCall couple missing.

Twenty-one-year-old Kevin Butler and 18-year-old Kimberly Linder checked out of their Kona hotel on Friday and told family members they were planning to camp.

Capt. Richard Miyamoto says the family contacted police and told them about a disturbing phone call they recieved from someone claiming to be Butler.

Hawaii Police Sgt. Prentiss Moreno tells KTVB that the couple was found safe, eating in a restaurant in the Hāmākua District.

Sgt. Moreno says they couple had no idea they had been reported missing and are in good health.
