Protein Fruit Smoothie

1 cup skim or low-fat milk

1 cup light yogurt

1/2 cup frozen fruit (berries, bananas, peaches)

1 scoop whey protein powder (look for low sugar, low fat products)

1 Tbsp ground flaxseed (optional for added omega-3 fatty acids)

 

Combine all ingredients in container of electric blender. Cover and blend until smooth.
