Green “Super Food” Smoothie
Start with about one cup of a leafy green (kale or spinach).
Before using kale in a smoothie remove the ribs and thick stems.
Use the fruits you like. For example, half cup of frozen mango and half of a frozen banana.
A frozen banana will make a smoothie really creamy.
To liquefy start with a cup of plain low fat or fat free yogurt, and add water or juice as necessary to get the right consistency.
Add a tablespoon of fresh lemon juice and a tablespoon of honey to enhance the flavors.
