What’s Cooking with Chef Lou Aaron
Fettuccini with Blue Cheese Sauce
2 Tablespoons Butter
½ cup thin Sliced Onions
1 Tablespoon Fresh Minced Garlic
½ cup Diced Ham
¾ cup crumbled Blue Cheese
¾ cup Half and Half
Salt to taste
Cracked Black Pepper to taste
1 tablespoon Minced Fresh Parsley
1 lb. cooked Fettuccini Noodles, (al Dente)
In a large saucepan, heat butter.
Add onions and fry until onions are almost burnt.
Add garlic and cook for one minute.
Add remaining ingredients except fettuccini.
Bring to a boil, then turn down to simmer, stirring constantly.
Add fettuccini, toss, and heat throughout.
Garnish with more blue cheese crumbs, if desired, and fresh minced parsley.
