Barbeque smoke marinade:

3 CUPS FRENCH DRESSING

¼ CUP LIQUID SMOKE

1 TABLESPOON WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE

1 TABLESPOON LEMON PEPPER

½ CUP HONEY

MIX ALL INGREDIENTS WELL

4# RAW CUT UP FRYER CHICKEN

Method:

MARINATE CHICKEN FOR AT LEAST 5 HOURS, OR OVERNIGHT.

HEAT GAS OR CHARCOAL BROILER. BLISTER EACH SIDE OF CHICKEN-THIS PROCESS TAKES 7-9 MINUTES EACH SIDE.

AT THIS POINT, YOU CAN TURN YOUR GRILL DOWN AND FINISH COOKING CHICKEN . THIS TAKES ABOUT 20-25 MINUTES DEPENDING ON WHAT PIECE OF CHICKEN(BREASTS TAKE LONGER THAN WINGS!)

-OR-

IF YOU’RE LAZY(LIKE ME) YOU CAN PLACE CHICKEN ON A COOKIE SHEET AND FINISH COOKING IN A PREHEATED 375 DEGREE OVEN FOR ABOUT 35-40 MINUTES.

YOU DON’T NEED TO BASTE THE CHICKEN UNLESS YOU REALLY LIKE BBQ SAUCE. THE MARINADE SOAKS IN THE CHICKEN REALLY WELL, BUT IF YOU HAVE TO, GO AHEAD AND BASTE THE CHICKEN WITH YOUR FAVORITE BBQ SAUCE, EITHER AS YOU FINISH COOKING THEM ON THE GRILL OR RIGHT BEFORE YOU PUT THEM IN THE OVEN.
