Kim is thrilled to be back in her home state of Idaho! She grew up in Southeast Idaho and graduated from Blackfoot High School.

She began her career at KSL in Salt Lake City after graduating from the University of Utah. Kim worked as an associate producer, field producer, and a morning reporter at KSL.

Her next move took her to the beautiful beaches of North Carolina where she got up bright and early! Kim worked as a morning and noon anchor for WECT in Wilmington for nearly three years. Readers of the Wilmington Star News voted her as their "Favorite Morning Anchor."

Kim didn't escape the Coastal Carolinas, though, without reporting on two hurricanes, Isabel and Ophelia.

After Wilmington, Kim spent almost four years anchoring, reporting and producing in Chattanooga, Tennessee at WTVC. She reported and field anchored several major news events while in Chattanooga including visits from President Bush and Vice President Cheney and the 2008 presidential debate at Belmont University in Nashville. Kim's political reporting of the 2006 senatorial campaign earned her recognition from the Tennessee Associated Press Broadcasters. In 2008, the Chattanooga Times Press named her one of the Top 30 Newsmakers to Watch.

Kim and her husband look forward to becoming an active part of the community. They're also excited to explore Boise and Idaho's outdoor adventures. Cycling, skiing and boarding are a few of their favorites!
