Erica Rush joined Idaho's News Channel 7 in January 2011.
During her first 10 months at KTVB, Erica worked overnight to produce Today’s Morning News.
The tough hours and hard work paid off in August of 2012 when Erica received an Emmy for Best Morning newscast in the market.
In November 2011, Erica began producing the News at Ten, where she works diligently to bring fresh stories as well as an overview of the day’s news.
Before moving to the Gem State, Erica worked as a one-man-band reporter for two years in her hometown of Coos Bay, Oregon at KCBY-TV.
She began her journalism career in 2007, producing at KEZI-TV in Eugene, Oregon.
Erica earned her Bachelor's degree in Journalism from the University of Oregon. In her spare time, you can find her sporting the green and yellow and cheering on her Ducks. She also enjoys checking out local concerts and new movies. Since moving to Idaho, Erica and her boyfriend and their two dogs have enjoyed exploring the outdoors and taking advantage of the local mountains, rivers and parks.
