BOISE - The first big wintry storm of the year brought snow to many areas across SW Idaho.
Many valley locations recieved an inch or more. At the Boise Airport, the National Weather Service reported two inches at the official snow stake - the most snow there since January 28th of this year.
Ski resorts also got in on the action - Brundage Mountain got the most snow in the first blast of the storm - with just about eight inches. Tamarack got six inches, Bogus Basin got a little bit more than three inches, and Sun Valley got about an inch.
