BOISE – Crews were busy cleaning up large pieces of brick and other debris Thursday afternoon after the driver of a Ford Explorer crashed into a Jacksons Food Store at the corner of Roosevelt and Rose Hill in Boise.
Witnesses say it appears the driver was attempting to back out of the parking lot onto Roosevelt when his SUV sped out of control. He then turned back into the parking lot, narrowly missed a gas pump and slammed into the store.
No one was hurt, but a witness said the driver appeared to have a hand injury.
Jacksons reopened its store to customers around 6 p.m.
