BOISE --  Bronco fans left in full force this morning bound for Logan, Utah.

More than 70 cars, RV's, and buses left Bronco Stadium just after 9 a.m.

Organizers say they want to show the nation that Bronco fans will travel for their team.

"One to show the solidarity of our fans as they go down to cheer for the football game, but the other main emphasis of it is to really show the nation how well Boise State can travel." said Brad Larrondo, assistant athletic director for marketing.

Gerry Wilson drives a big RV decked out in Bronco colors.  He was the first fan to show up just before sunrise.  Wilson is the older brother of Kyle Wilson, senior cornerback for Boise State, and he's also the caravan leader.

"Were' getting it all taken care of, and it would be great if we could lead all the way to Logan. We said sure we'll be there 5 a.m. ready to go," said Gerry Wilson

This game is important because the BCS committee looks at the fan base when selecting teams to put in bowls.  The committee wants to make sure fans will follow like they did for the 2007 Fiesta Bowl in Glendale, Arizona.

That's why Crissie Fields is taking her family down in their SUV.

"We have, have fans, will travel. That's our message for the BCS selection committee," said Fields.

She painted on the back of her vehicle -- "BCS or Bust."

"Bronco Nation is ready and willing to travel anywhere you want us to go," said Fields.

"I think it's very important. We showed the last time when we went to the Fiesta Bowl that we travel real strong. And even with these down economic times, it's going to be a little tougher, but we're going to find different ways to get down there. Instead of flying maybe we drive this time," said John Wheeler who is driving to Utah.

As the morning progressed more and more fans pulled in with flags flying from their windows.  And fans were bright eyed and bushy tailed. Shortly after 9 a.m. the caravan pulled out of the Bronco Stadium parking lot.

"I think it was a great idea!" exclaimed Wilson.

The drive to Logan, Utah, is nearly five hours.

About 2,000 to the game have been sold and for last minute travelers, and tickets will still be available at the game.

For those of you who can't make it to the game, but want to know how the trip is going, Boise State are already one step ahead.

"We are going to be doing updates throughout Bronco Sports platforms. Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, where armchair travelers can see what it's like to go on this trip." Larrondo said.

He said there will be a parking lots and several tailgating areas for Bronco fans at Utah State.

"We really expect Bronco Nation to take over the Utah State parking lot down there," said Larrondo.

Our Justin Corr says the first group of Bronco fans began arriving in the lot around 2:30 p.m.
