BOISE -- A Boise principal took advantage of the nice weather today and spent the day on the roof of her elementary school.
Principal Deborah Watts worked from the roof of Trail Wind Elementary School.
Watts says she decided to pull the stunt after her students did well on their ISAT tests.
She says it required a little bit more planning than she initially thought.
"When I gave them the options I did not properly think through the fact that Trailwind does not have a flat section of roof, and that that there would be some safety requirements for me to be up here," said Watts.
Fortunately, Watts was firmly secured to the roof by a harness and and tether.
She said the kids were given a choice between having her kiss a pig or hang out on the roof.
