A mother and daughter who have not seen each other for 17 years will reunite in Portland Friday, family members told KGW.
Salem resident Tylene Lane, 18, will meets the mother she hasn't seen since she was one-years-old.
The mother, Tammi Lane, recently decided to check MySpace, since Tylene has an unusual name. She spotted her daughter and sent an e-mail. Tylene checked with her dad, who confirmed it was her mother.

The reunion will take place at Portland International Airport. Tammi Lane will fly in from Arkansas.
Tammi sold teddy bears and had a garage sale to raise money for the flight to see her daughter.
The two were separated 17 years ago when Tammi and her husband split up and Tylene moved to the West Coast with her dad, who was looking for work.
According to a family friend, Tylene and her father moved around a lot, so keeping contact with Tammi was difficult.
