Linda Brooks, 35, of Monroe, and Leon Nissen, 41, were both arrested last Friday after Benton County sheriff's deputies found methamphetamine residue and drug paraphernalia at their home, according to Lt. Greg Ridler, a sheriff's spokesman.
Nissen also faces reckless endangerment and drug charges. His relationship to the baby wasn't clear, Ridler said.
The boy was with a babysitter who noticed there was something wrong with him. He was taken to Sacred Heart Medical Center in Eugene, where doctors detected the drug, Ridler said.
Brooks was released from jail Monday following an arraignment, but Nissen remained in jail Monday night.
Hospital officials declined to comment about the boy's condition.
