Earthquake shakes north-central Oregon

PORTLAND - A minor earthquake shook the area around Maupin, in north-central Oregon on Saturday afternoon.
A report from the Pacific Northwest Seismograph Network said the quake occurred about 8 miles east-southeast of Maupin at 4:38:53 p.m. and had a magnitude of 3.6.
The depth was 11 miles.
No damage or injuries were reported.
A magnitude 1.8 earthquake occurred in the same area at 3:54 p.m. on Saturday.
The Maupin area has had an earthquake "swarm" recently, with more than a dozen quakes in the past two weeks.
