PULLMAN, Wash. -- Police arrested a Washington State University adjunct faculty member over the weekend. Prodyut Kumar Paul was arrested on felony voyeurism charges.
Pullman Police say the investigation started on June 29th. A 21-year-old WSU student called police to say a man took a digital picture up her shorts while she was waiting in line at Safeway.
Police used surveillance video to identify Prodyut Kumar Paul.
On Sunday an officer spotted Paul at Sunnyside Park, where the Pullman Fourth of July Celebration was underway, and arrested him. A search warrant was executed on Paul's home. Detectives seized his computer.
Pullman Police say the investigation is ongoing. A court date for Paul has not been set.
Prodyut Kumar Paul is listed as an adjunct faculty member in WSU's School of Food Science.
