Seattle police says it has forwarded a surveillance video allegedly showing an officer peeing on the side of a building to the Office of Professional Accountability.
The video was posted on a blog Wednesday morning, claiming that it happened behind a well-known European performance car shop. The owner reportedly added a surveillance camera due to crime in the area.
The video shows the officer’s patrol car backing in behind the building. The officer gets out and walks behind a dumpster right below the camera.
The officer looks up and says something before moving out of the camera shot. He returns to his car a few minutes later and drives away.
A Seattle police spokesperson said the department cannot comment except to say that incident is being reviewed by the OPA.
