OLYMPIA- Washington residents won’t have to drive into Oregon anymore to play the Powerball lottery.
The multi-state game has now expanded to include Washington state. In the past, Powerball jackpots have grown as big as $365 million. The current jackpot is $107 million and the winning numbers will be selected on Wednesday.
Powerball tickets cost $1 each and may be purchased at any of the nearly 4,000 retailers across Washington where lottery products are already being offered.
Drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday night.
More information about how to win and where to purchase tickets can be found on the Washington lottery Web site.
