UMATILLA, Ore. – Police are looking for two suspects who kidnapped a woman Sunday, Feb. 17 in Umatilla.
The 21-year-old woman escaped from a dark-colored SUV after she was forcibly kidnapped by two Hispanic men who offered to help her while she was outside her broken-down vehicle along Highway 730, said Lt. Gregg Hastings with Oregon State Police.
After the woman escaped, she hid from the suspects in nearby brush off the highway. She received minor injuries during the attack.
The suspects reportedly spoke English and Spanish and were in a dark-colored SUV with while letters spelling out a Hispanic-type name or word on the rear window. The letters were reportedly about 4 inches high, and the word about a foot long, Hastings said
The first suspect was described as 6 feet tall and 220 lbs (sketch left). The second suspect was described as about 5-foot-10 with unknown weight (sketch right).
