ST HELENS, Ore. -- Police in Saint Helens have arrested a man they believe has been exposing himself to unsuspecting women in laundromats.

Lt. Terry Moss with the St. Helens Police Department said there were at least four incidents which occurred at laundromats including Royal Quick Clean and Cascade Cleaners. All the victims were women.

One victim told police that a man approached her, exposed his genitals and asked for sexual favors.

In another case, when the suspect had the woman's attention, she said he began masturbating.

Lt. Moss said in a third case, the suspect grabbed a woman but she escaped without injuries.

Wednesday afternoon, police announced that they had arrested 27-year-old Ian Rushing. He faces several charges, including public indecency, sex abuse and a probation violation. Bail was set at $2,000.

Police told KGW that more victims were coming forward as information about the investigation was circulated by the media.

The male suspect had been described as white, in his early to mid twenties with a slender to medium build, short, brown hair, a short goatee and crooked front teeth. Police said the man had a decayed front tooth which was bluish in color. He was last seen driving a newer, silver minivan. Investigators have not said exactly what led them to Rushing as their key suspect.
