Man will spend 10 years in prison for home invasion robbery

SHOSHONE -- A 30-year-old man who pleaded guilty to conspiring to rob a house in southern Idaho in which the residents were held at gunpoint has been sentenced to eight to 10 years in prison.

Gabriel Baker was sentenced Tuesday by 5th District Judge John Butler.

Prosecutors allege Baker and another man waited outside in a van while two men rifled through the home of David and Colleen Conner of Dietrich looking for valuables to sell for drug money.

Jeremiah Bennett was sentenced to 20 years to life for second-degree kidnapping, burglary and robbery for the March home invasion while Jamie Taylor was sentenced to six to 10 years for conspiracy. Aaron Donabedian faces trial on Jan. 31 on two counts of second-degree kidnapping, two counts of robbery and burglary.
