Man drives bulldozer through four Wash. houses

Four houses were outside of Port Angeles after a man drove bulldozer through them on the afternoon of Friday, May 10. The man also tripped power lines causing a power outage for thousands of peninsula residents.

A Port Angeles man damaged four houses after he drove his bulldozer through them.

The Clallam County Sheriff's Office said the man was "irate with neighbors."

The man was booked into jail for malicious mischief.

A major power outage was caused after Bonneville Power Administration lines were tripped. Power has been restored to all but a few customers who could be without power until Friday morning.

However, thousands of customers were without power from east Port Angeles to Sequim, according to Mike Howe of the Clallam County Public Utilities District.

The incident took place at Baker and Highway 101. No injuries were reported.
