PORTLAND – With the help of drug-sniffing K9 “Spencer,” sheriff’s deputies seized 14 pounds of pot, half a pound of cocaine, and $32,000 in cash during a traffic stop Friday evening.

Just before 5:30 p.m., deputies pulled over a 2012 Toyota Tundra pickup near milepost 11 on eastbound lanes of Interstate 84, said Lt. Steve Alexander with the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office.

“Spencer” then alerted deputies that drugs were likely in the truck and a subsequent search revealed the trove of drugs and cash.

Deputies arrested 24-year-old Francisco Flores and 29-year-old Anthony White, both of Myrtle Creek, and charged them with possession and distribution of a controlled substance, Alexander said.
