SEATTLE – The husband of Nicole Pietz, whose body was found in Burien in 2006, has been arrested for investigation of murder.
Martin David Pietz is being held in the King County Jail.
David Pietz reported his wife missing Jan. 29, 2006, after she failed to show up for dinner with friends and family the night before.
The car she was driving on the day she disappeared was found in a parking lot in Seattle.
Nicole's nude and strangled body was found in the woods off a dead end road in Burien, far from her home in Lynnwood.
In 2008, Nicole’s mother offered $35,000 of her own money as a reward.
