LEWISTON, Wash — A 70-year-old man led police to an intruder Friday morning after chasing the suspect for several blocks.
Anthony “Joe” Nacke noticed a man breaking into a shed on his property near 1200 10th Street in Lewiston and confronted him. The suspect, Brian L. Harmon, 42, took off running according to police.
Nacke chased Harmon to the area of 12th Street and 14th Avenue, where police found him hiding in the window well of another residence according to officials.
Police said their investigation determined Harmon is homeless and was using the shed as a place to sleep. They arrested him for unlawful entry and possession of a concealed weapon according to officials.
