Three fishermen in Alaska saved a brown bear cub from drowning in a river and caught the incident on video.

The cellphone video posted on YouTube shows the cub struggling in the current along the Upper Kenai River last month. The bear can be heard screaming in the water. (Warning: Some graphic language in the video)

The men used their fishing net to eventually push the cub to shore where its mother was waiting.

Here’s what the fishermen posted with the video:

We watched helplessly as Momma bear decided to abandon this struggling cub in a whirlpool. It took about 15 minutes before we were lucky enough to pull him out of the current. This little guy was completely terrified, however upon making it to shore he let out one more cry for mom and we heard her coming back for him.
