PORTLAND -- Isaac Lamb and Amy Frankel, stars of what generally has been cited as the best wedding video proposal ever, appeared Tuesday morning on "The Today Show."
"I mean it's a testament to what they think of her," Lamb said on the show of his friends in the video. "That's really what it is. Everybody I sent stuff out to was just like 'absolutely no question we love Amy and we want to be there for her on this special day for her."
The toughest part of the production was getting Frankel out of the house on a ruse in order to get 60 friends and family onto the block.
"I knew something was up," Frankel said.
The video now has seven million hits worldwide. "Today" host Ann Curry teased Lamb, asking him to apologize to men everywhere, who will never match the proposal.
Lamb said he received a note from a fan in Poland who wrote simply "you made me believe in love again."
Frankel said she was speechless after the he popped the question, well into an evening party.
What was the best part of the video production for her?
"When they all parted. And there was Isaac."
Lamb calls his effort the world's first "Live Lip-Dub Proposal."
In the video you can see not only the cast of friends performing to the Bruno Mars hit "Marry You," but also Frankel's reaction in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
In the end, he finally gets down on one knee. And she says yes.
Lamb said his friends and family quickly jumped on board when he pitched the idea.
Bruno Mars even checked out the video and tweeted, "Congrats to Isaac Lamb and the future Mrs. I don't think I could've made a better music video for this song. Thank you."
