BOISE -- Registration for the Race to Robie Creek began at noon -- and ended shortly thereafter.
Like past years, registration for the "Toughest Race in the Northwest" sold out in just minutes.
This year, race organizers asked participants to only register if they are able to complete the half marathon in less than five hours.
The number of people allowed to register today was 2,100. If you were not able to get through during the initial registration process, there will be a second chance drawing held in which organizers will choose another 200 participants.
In previous years, the registration process has been an uphill battle for runners hoping to participate. Server crashes and record-breaking sellouts caused frustration for some hoping to take part in the grueling 13.1 mile test.
The race will take place on April 21, 2012.
