Presidential, congressional ballot breakdown

BOISE - Idahoans will head to the polls on Tuesday, Nov. 8 to help decide a number of local, statewide, and national races, including the U.S. presidency.

The most contentious presidential election in modern history has dominated news headlines for months as Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton and Republican candidate Donald Trump both vie for the nation's top elected office. But Clinton and Trump are not the only presidential candidates on the ballot. Six third-party candidates representing the the Libertarian Party, the Green Party, the Constitution Party, as well as several independents are each making their case to become president.

Idaho voters will also be asked to choose their representatives in Congress. Incumbents Mike Crapo, Raul Labrador and Mike Simpson are facing challenges from Democrats and, in Crapo and Labrador's cases, from Constitution Party candidates.
