Idaho first lady recalls disturbance at Trump rally

BOISE - Idaho first lady Lori Otter was just 20 feet away from Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump as the Secret Service rushed him off stage during a rally over the weekend.

Otter was with a group of other Idaho Trump supporters in Reno, Nevada when a disturbance broke out in the crowd close to the podium where Trump was speaking.

She says it all happened quickly and she was very impressed with how the Secret Service handled the situation.

"I really wasn’t scared, and I really wasn't nervous, simply because I know how those Secret Service guys are,” said Otter. “They're not going to get a second chance, you know if something hadn't happened right away, and they had to react to what already happened, I didn't feel like there was anything else that was going to happen.”

Otter was there to give a welcome speech and lead the Pledge of Allegiance.
