BOISE -- Flags at the Idaho Capitol and other state buildings will be lowered to half staff Tuesday for Patriot Day and a National Day of Service and Remembrance to mark the anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
As part of 9/11 remembrances, a memorial service will take place at 10 a.m. at the Idaho Fallen Soldier Memorial in front of the old Ada County Courthouse. The names of seven Idaho soldiers and marines who lost their lives last year will be added to the memorial.
The city of Meridian will commemorate 9/11 with a public ceremony at the fire station on Franklin Road. It starts at 7:30 a.m.
