Police: Man bites paramedic, punches employee

BOISE - A Boise man was booked into the Ada County Jail after police say he bit a paramedic and punched a hospital employee in the face Wednesday afternoon.

Jamison Deshazer, 31, faces three felony charges including aggravated battery.

Boise police said they found him unconscious inside a residence near the intersection of South Euclid Avenue and West Hale Street.

Paramedics attempted to revive him, and carried him on a gurney to an ambulance.

When Deshazer regained consciousness, he began to fight with paramedics, attempting to spit on them and eventually biting one.

He was medically cleared before being transported to the Ada County Jail.
