Nik Wallenda completed a tightrope walk over the Grand Canyon in Northeastern Arizona Sunday night. It took Wallenda 22 minutes and 54 seconds to walk across a 2-inch thick steel cable that was suspended 15-hundred feed above the Little Colorado River Gorge. The 34-year-old is now the first person to have walked across the Grand Canyon on a tightrope. He was not wearing a harness nor was there a safety net below him. The event was broadcast around the world on "The Discovery Channel." Wallenda says he will now like to walk between two skyscrapers in New York City.
