BOISE -- A Jerome man has claimed a $100,000 prize from the Idaho Lottery.

Kenneth Baker won it playing the scratch game Break the Bank.

"I'm flying high now!" exclaimed Baker. "Now, I can really retire."

Baker, who has lived in Jerome since 1999, was working for a local dairy but retired earlier this year.  But he continued to work at the dairy since no one has learned how to do his job.

However, that changed when he bought the $10 scratch game winner Wednesday.

"I bought the ticket at the Stinker Store on the west end of town, scratched it, and couldn’t believe it," he said.  "I had the store check it, and they told me I'd have to go to Boise because they couldn't pay it!"

Baker plans pay off his debts and says he has no plans to return to work.

The winning ticket was sold at the Stinker Store location at 700 W. Main in Jerome. For their part in selling the winning ticket, Stinker Stores receives a $10,000 bonus from the Idaho Lottery.
