BOISE – Big Lottery luck has strike a Twin Falls County woman again.
Idaho Lottery officials say Cindy Ragains won $250,000 on the scratch game Mega Fortune. It was her second big prize in 2011.
“Just like last time, I got the ticket and went out to play it in my truck,” said Ragains. “It’s just crazy to think that the exact same store sold me another $250,000 winner.”
Three days before Christmas, Ragains bought the ticket from the same Oasis Stop ‘n Go, at 2220 Addison Avenue East in Twin Falls, that she won $250,000 playing a different scratch game, Idaho Millions, last February.
“It’s great that one of our regular customers won. That it was the same person winning from the same store she won in before is astounding,” said Troy Willie, CEO with Oasis Stop ‘n Go. “Oasis stores are lucky. We’ve sold over $1 million worth of winning tickets in the past two years.”
Ragains is a regular scratch game player who has also won $5,000 three times in the past four months.
Ragains says she plans to pay off some bills and then invest most of her winnings.
For their part in selling the winning ticket, Oasis Stop ‘n Go will receive a bonus of $20,000.
